When you have players on your team stupid enough to do something like this it’s no surprise this team amassed 18 penalties and beat themselves over and over.

All the talent in the world doesn’t make up for stupidity and blatant disregard for discipline. Guys like OBJ and AB are cancers.

I saw that, I had read it was a $350K watch. That's just stupid, it will get broken if he keeps wearing it out on the field.

How is this even within the rules. While I doubt it could actually cause any damage, it still doesn't feel right.

Stupid is owning a $350k watch. Doesn’t surprise me he’s stupid enough to wear it in a game. His insurance just doubled when that report was published.

Who needs a watch. Seriously. I feel like the industry continues to pull the wool over people's eyes. But credit to them, they survived and reinvented themselves before it was too late. But just seems like a product that has no utility.

This just reminds me of chumps at the gym trying to play basketball with a watch or earbuds in. Makes me laugh every time.

Playing basketball with your buddies in what is likely a $100 or less watch is a bit different than playing professional football in a $350,000 watch...

There's a link to the watch in an article I read somewhere... The description states it has a band made of rubber. You'd think a $350,000 watch would have a band made of the intestines of a rare African rhino or something not a cheap rubber band.

You guys act like he's doing it to tell time. I bet he got the watch for free if he wore it during games. Heck he maybe getting PAID on top of it. Its business. The article says there are no rules against wearing jewelry. So he's not braking any rules. Flashy or not, it didn't stop him from catching the ball. Everyone here would do the exact same thing if given the offer.

As Conor McGregor once said, "I don't wear these solid gold pocket watches to tell the time."

People wear watches for the same reason people wear hats backward.

There are no complimentary $350k watches.

What lol

Some people like knowing what time it is

Also a fashion piece like a hat or something

The publicity for this watch from this story is worth more than any ad that company could ever pay for.
