Nah, about midway through the games, that one main group were standing around the drop off point, I think they'd set up mines in the ground around the food and other equipment.

She's not Legolas to where she would have been able to fire 4 or 5 consecutive aimed and accurate shots, picking off the entire group in 5 seconds. As I said, she had no combat skills, she was just a normal girl who can hunt a little (she did miss a lot too). The "bad" group weren't scrubs, she would have been able to fire one aimed shot before they spotted her and then it would have been an open field battle, something she didn't want.

The Hunger Games book is literally 78x better than the movie. I was disappointed in the movie big time. But thats to expect when you try to fit a best-seller into a 90 min movie.

If you were even mildly interested in the movie i suggest giving the book a read.

Bah, use the trees to hide. Take out the leader first and the rest will fall in the confusion.

If y'all haven't seen a Hong Kong movie called Infernal Affairs, y'all should check it out, it's the original The Departed and I think it's better. IMO the tone is better as it's more emotional and deeper, especially Andy Lau's character (Matt Damon's counterpart) and I liked it better that in Infernal Affairs Andy Lau's character was not only the main antagonist, but also the main character and the star opposed to no true star in The Departed. The dialogue is pretty similar except take out all the f-bombs from The Departed, which I thought made IA less distracting and told the story in a more compelling manner. And the soundtrack is beautiful and fit so well with the movie.

Now don't get me wrong, I liked The Departed, thought it was a pretty good movie, but I think everyone who has seen that should watch IA, your opinions on The Departed just might change.

I don't avoid all of them - just the crap.
Lawless looks good as well as a few other things but I won't be rushing out to see Hunger Games or the next Twilight anytime soon.

Then why is Adam Sandler still making movies? :rimshot:

Because people are dumb enough to keep paying for them. A lot of 13-17 year olds and immature adults still like his stuff. I wonder if I'd still like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and Big Daddy now that it's been years since I've seen them... Might still enjoy them for nostalgic purposes only.

I admit I saw That's My Boy but only because it was free - I knew it would suck, but not to the point of me sufferring mental and physical pain. Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. In the past year I'd have to say Your Highness, Bad Teacher, and That's My Boy are by far the worst movies I've seen in that time - and probably some of the worst movies of all time (that I've seen).

Only time I would actually pay for a movie is if I know I'll like it. TDKR was the first movie I've had to pay for in years, followed by Savages and The Campaign. I immediately regretting paying for those two. Not that either of them were horrible - they just aren't worth the $11 I spent.

No more free movies for me, so I must be pickier.

I am watching Mr Deeds right now. May I have $10?

Haha... I remember seeing that in theaters like it was yesterday. I was in Louisville with cousins - about 12-13 years old playing putt putt in some mall that also had a theater in it.

Btw, I must know what that video is in your signature. I saw a clip of that thing where some guy with sunglasses is just dancing around everywhere, but I didn't catch the name. Looked funny.
