To me he is to short and takes way too many sacks. I am just not that impressed. I like upside of Corrall better. I think we leave qb alone this year. It is just not a good year for qb's in the draft. His long ball accuracy is a good fit.
His OLine was trash last year. He can be coached up I think. He is 6’1” but thick and muscled up. I think he could develop well. I’m not seeing a Mahommes in this group, but they have some guys who will surprise. Besides, every year the scouts and talking heads get it wrong. My problem is we need more than we have higher draft picks. We need at add at least 1 probably 2 starters to the O-line, a corner when Caleb “Fraily” can’t go, and a WR until Woods is full strength (and beyond). Trades or upcoming cuts will have to be part of the equation or the offense is in trouble. To me he is to short and takes way too many sacks. I am just not that impressed. Tom Brady taken in the 6th round.Late round QBs are a wasted pick. They can't even help on special teams.
