Cant see us signing clowney with having just signed Beasley to start opposite landry. I think our cap space is back up to near 30 million though. A lot to play with
Different positions.

Vrabel knows Clowney. He didn't go for him last year when he had a chance.
He's probably too expensive for what Vrabel thinks his production will be.
Maybe signing Brady to backup Tanney? The difference there is we would have had to give up draft picks and a big contract. I think that Clowney is the guy we get. Idk who else is out there we are making this move for.
Maybe he and Beasley combined can stay healthy 17 games.I don't think Clowney can stay on the field. Casey had more sacks than Clowney last season.
Clowney doesn't have a double-digit sack total even in the one season he played all 16 games.
I think this increases the available cap to around $38M. There's still a lot of holes so JRob might be looking to fill a few instead of making a big splash.
We'll see soon.
Oh I like that. Bring back Ryan and draft DL round 1Might see Logan Ryan as more valuable than Casey and about to re-sign him.

View attachment 17278Clowney would be $18-$20 million a year per Spotrac. That is huge money.
That being said, I'd rather have Clowney in his prime for the next 3 years than Casey as he fades.
