zero chance they straight release him, they know he's worth something, and doesnt have a giant guarantee looming like ab did.
 
Lot of people overlooking the pass rush required to help DBs.
Ramsey, ryan, butler, byard or whoever will always allow WR/TE to catch when they get to run around for 10 seconds..

The Jags will never cut him. He will have to play for whoever sells the farm for him in a trade.

Hey, don't under estimate how stupid some teams are.

Houston gave Clowney away for basically NOTHING while the Raiders, in comparison, traded Mack away for two 1st rounders!!! HUGE difference!

And the Mack deal was probably bad for the Raiders anyway, but some teams are flat out stupid!
 
How about...a 2nd in 2021 and Adoree? In 2019 value, that's a 3rd and Adoree for Jalen.

The difference there is Clowney has never had a double digit sack season. Mack only had 1 season without double digit sacks.

So, a guy avg'ing like 50 tackles a year and 9+ sacks the last two seasons who is also one of the best run defending OLB's is nothing???

Technically they got a 3rd for him...but they would have gotten a comp 3rd later anyway and could have had him PLAY for them this year!!!
