If he’s in don’t get me wrong I’m absolutely happy for 1 year $12m and excited to see him out there for us.

Jadeveon Clowney has told Titans officials he plans to sign with them, per sources. He has also texted with his new teammates his enthusiasm for joining the team. Clowney is expected to travel to Nashville soon

It's another "prove it" deal. The Redskins broke the bank for Haynesworth. We aren't doing that with Clowney, he'll be hungry for a bigger deal/big extension.

1 year deal makes that unlikely but I am tempering expectations. Clowney steps up in big games. Doesn't live up to the hype for a full season in my opinion. He'll also have to be eased in with no off season. That said, I'm happy with 6 to 8 sacks in the regular season. A couple huge plays in clutch games. If he steps up in the playoffs like he did last year with the Seahawks or how Casey stepped up for us, I'm happy. He'll obviously help against the run and open things up for Landry and Simmons.
