Amazing we played 91 players this year, most in history, and still were the #1 seed. Yes, Tanny failed, as did Rogers, Mahomes, TB, etc.

Mahomes, (Mr. Elite) was 8/18 with 2 int 2nd half. He is also going to be sitting and watching the SB with 30 other QBs

Mahomes is starting to look like Aaron Rodgers. Got one ring and keeps coming up short since.

Maybe the Bengals are gonna win because Burrow is on his rookie deal and therefore is being paid well under his true value.

Last 20 years every super bowl winning QB besides Brady, Peyton, and Foles were on their rookie deal. Maybe that's the key to winning. Draft an elite QB and enjoy your 5 year window.

So absolute dumb luck that not only did you draft an “elite” QB before anyone knows they’re elite (I’m not saying burrow is ftr) but also hope other teams s**t the bed along the way.

I think there is something to having key players on rookie contracts, just not limited to QB or required.

No doubt getting starting level production from guys on their rookie deals helps out tremendously....and that is something the Titans have not gotten from its high picks the last few yrs.....Just think if Wilson had panned out and Radunz had come in and grabbed a starting spot....we would be well on our way to having rebuilt our OL...if we knew that Farley was a shutdown CB then we part with Jenkins without looking back.

Cincy is in the SB and has 40mil of cap space heading into the off season...they should be set up for years to come....I'm sure they will spend a good chunk on upgrading their OL.

The bright side is, the titans are getting much more than can be expected production from the later rounds.
I too would like to have seen the first round picks pay off like Simmons has but that’s also not fair to expect. Farley was a known project from injury, not a fan of the pick, Wilson is the other highlighted first round miss.
I think radunz May still become something which is fine for a 2nd round pick to take a year or two to figure it out.

Bengals will have a couple years with chase and burrow sure, but that also means they have to hit with their picks, later in the draft, and not be handed no brainer picks. Cincinnati isn’t a dominant team which is actually a bright side across the entire AFC, no team was outright better than the rest. I think we’ll see more years like this one.

And yet some argue JRob is an elite GM. He’s above average but not by much.

I'd be curious to see what other teams are like...

AJ and Nate Davis - rookie deals
Landry, Simmons, Jones/Tart, Long/Evans, Hooker, Fulton, Molden - rookie deals

Radunz will step into a starter role and several of our defensive guys on rookie deals will take bigger roles.

I know they missed on Wilson and that sucks, but overall, I don't think they've done badly at all.

Scanning the Bengals and Rams, it looks like we have more starters on rookie deals than the Rams and Bengals.

The Bengals just happened to hit homeruns the last 2 years picking in the top 5, while we've had late picks the last 5 years.

Uhhhh what? Lol Titans have AJ Brown, Simmons, Landry, & Fulton on rookie deals. Also Amani Hooker and David Long are emerging players.

Also had DH22 & RT17 (on top of AJB and Simmons) for cheap in ‘19 when we made the run.

I said from our high picks the last few yrs...I guess I should have specified last 2 yrs....Wilson, Farley, and Radunz contributed nothing towards our success...Fulton was hurt his 1st yr and certainly showed his potential this yr.

Lol from 2 years ago..maybe he can cuddle up with Nick Foles and compare SB rings
Mahomes is a great young QB but he will get figured out just like Lamar Jackson

Oh my god…

Tannehill is not worth these cold takes!

Btw, I’d take a 2 year old SB victory over no SB victory.

My comment wasn't about Tannehill...it was about now not 2 years ago...2 years ago Tannehill had a great playoff...no one cares about 2 years ago

NFL ..Not For Long

I’m saying you are going to great lengths to try and defend Tannehill. It’s not worth it.

Mahomes is going to be figured out like Lamar? Lol cmon man. That’s a cold take.

2 years ago Tannehill was “great” until he had to throw the ball more than 15 times lol
