Tua will do really well in the NFL. Hurts won’t. Neither will Eason. Neither will Marquita.Hurts nor Tua are nfl material. Marines threw 56 mph at combine. Like Watson and Jackson, they won’t throw out of the 40s. Mariota 4.48 40 will beat either or them by .20. They both look short and fat to me. I think Marquita will be inked for a long time after this year, but If we do go an, I am rooting for Jacob Eason from Georgia/ washington
So I've been thinking...Why not go ahead and give Marcus a contract if he shows he can stay healthy and be consistent over the next month or two? And then go into the draft next year with an intention of drafting his eventual replacement? Say if a guy falls ala Rodgers...maybe not in the first round but whatever works.

Seconded from another Bama fan. Love Jalen eternally, but I don't want him on the Titans. I'm just done with mobile QBs. Like if they can run as a bonus, great. But I want a guy who can actually win with his arm for once in our franchises history.I'm a bammer fan and by extension a sooner fan this year, but Jalen ain't NFL material. He'll hang around the league for a while and probably start some games, but he isn't going to be reading any defenses.
Not sure about tua. I want a pocket passer only.Tua will do really well in the NFL. Hurts won’t. Neither will Eason. Neither will Marquita.
Have you even watched Tua? What kind of QB do you think he is?Not sure about tua. I want a pocket passer only.
Then fuck that noise.A running back playing quarterback in an easy as **** system.
He has thrown for 1,300 yards and 17 TDs so far this year. Ran for 44 yards and 1 TD.Not sure about tua. I want a pocket passer only.
Fair enough, but unless we tank harder than Miami, we ain't getting him.He has thrown for 1,300 yards and 17 TDs so far this year. Ran for 44 yards and 1 TD.
He's a pocket QB with mobility.
Trade Mariota in the off-season to a QB needy team willing to pay him and hopefully get back 3rd rounder (or better). Flacco is older and worse and managed to bring back a 4th rounder, so surely we can get a 3rd rounder.
Whatever our 1st pick is, just trade out of the 1st and get a 2020 1st and 2nd rounder. Then in 2020 trade the two 1st round picks, our 2020 2nd and 3rd, and 2021 2nd rounder to move up to No. 1 overall and get Lawrence.
Problem solved.
Can we even trade Mariota after this season? I mean, as is.Trade Mariota in the off-season to a QB needy team willing to pay him and hopefully get back 3rd rounder (or better). Flacco is older and worse and managed to bring back a 4th rounder, so surely we can get a 3rd rounder.
