I have a new puppy...well sort of new... 5 month old Olde English Bulldogge, anyways...she likes to sleep on the pillow sometimes...when that happens I usually decide NOT to wrestle the pup for the pillow...LOLApparently he was up at 3:24 am

Staying in Honolulu for a total of 4 days, 2 prior to the cruise, 2 afterwards. The cruise basically takes in all the islands...7 days/nights.....truthfully I didn't want to do a cruise...I spent 5 years in the NAVY....the idea of PAYING to go on a ship...just seems wrong. LOLHawaii is either AN island OR it is a state composed of several islands, two of which you may not visit. You could be more specific about where you're visiting

Visiting the Pearl Harbor Memorial was disappointing and pissed me off. People are so disrespectful of it and treat it like it's "just another place".The cruise stops are pretty decent everywhere but Kahului...that's the industrial section of Maui, and the Maui Mall across the street is lame af. The Lahaina stop is much better, but there's no dock. Both of those are just so you can basically ride past Lana`i and Moloka`i. Kauai and either stop on Hawai`i are okay.

It's a tomb... but laughing and such, very disrespectful.We can't walk around being somber all the time. For a practical purposes it IS "just another place" (though it affected me pretty heavily); it's okay to visit a historical site without being morose.
The weird thing is... people were plenty respectful and quiet at the memorial before you're taken to the actual site. Couldn't figure that one out. Even had a lot more people there.And that is, like, your opinion, man.
