Replace NFL helmets with rugby style helmets and you will probably reduce head injuries.

1. Players won't be as reckless
2. A lot of head injuries are caused by helmet to helmet hits

I think the old rubber helmets can speak some truth to the limited head injuries as well but not nearly enough research was performed at the time. I don’t think anyone saw CTE coming back in the 30’s.
