Just can't see it. The line was freaking dreadful today. We were very lucky to win.

Today helped our odds, but don’t let the shocking win that we were supposed to lose fool you into thinking we are ready for a deep run.
History says that our inconsistency bug will bite us again at some point in the future.
But if we could get this dreadful Oline to finally get their head out of their arses, we could be dangerous. We are light years better with Tanny at QB now so one piece to the puzzle has been improved upon.

Same here we’ve been fortunate 3/4 games since Tanny took over. The Chargers goal-line stand and fumble isn’t going to happen 9/10x, the dead ball whistle on Kerns 4th down fake FG that should have gone Tampa’s way, and today’s somewhat miraculous score and blocked FG. We’re very fortunate we haven’t lost 1, or even all 3. If we had won these games comfortably i’d feel like maybe we’ve got a shot at rolling out 6/7 more wins, but I’m just not seeing it.

Yeah. The line is the problem. Guys were getting shoved back into tannys lap all freaking day.
The defense was bad today too. Especially little screens and dumpoffs. I bet we gave up 200 YAC yesterday.

1 game back from the division.
To get wild card, they have to win the AFC games, while we're winning those AFC games, 4 are in the division including 3 against the 2 teams above us.
Just take the division and play a game at home.

Taking care of business in the division would be great, but it is just so unlikely.
I think the Steelers might play their way into the playoffs....they have a pretty easy remaining schedule...Browns, Bengals, Browns, Cards, Bills, Jets and then at Ravens for week 17 when the Ravens could be resting Jackson if they have things wrapped up

Big Games this weekend to watch. Found someone who used a playoff calculator and did some scenarios with the division games this weekend to see how things would look for the Titans coming off their bye. per FWordsPod
Heading into this weekend (week11)
Titans sit at 15% chance to make the playoffs in some form or fashion. 8% to win the division.
#Texans(6-3): 84%/69%
#Colts (5-4): 32%/19%
#Titans (5-5): 15%/8%
#Jaguars(4-5): 21%/4%
If the Ravens beat Houston this weekend not much changes. (Bye for the Titans)
#Texans(6-4):77%/61%
#Colts (5-4): 34%/24%
#Titans (5-5): 17%/9%
#Jaguars(4-5): 21%/6%
If the Colts beat the Jags and the Texans lose, things really start to get interesting within the Div. Titans come off the Bye playing Jax.

Pit, Buf, Indy, Tenn, and Oak are in the wild card hunt for now but its only going to get tighter as the season goes on. Titans are gonna need some help starting this weekend.

Wouldn’t it be great if we were to go off on a 6 game win streak to finish off the season 11-5!
Isn’t going to happen, but it would still be great id it did. Roll into the playoffs as the hottest team in NFL. One can dream.

Getting to 9 wins won't be easy considering the 2-4 start to the season.
Losing to the Jags in what was a terribly ugly game of fumbles (3), sacks (9!), and really stupid play was a killer, but then there was the Bronco's debacle where Mariota had a passer rating of ~"9".
Anyway, they had to know that the Bronco's were going to take away Henry and force Mariota to stay in the pocket and pass. Vrabel should've benched him at half time when the game was still manageable instead of throwing Tannehill in the game after the Broncos went up 13-0 late in the third and could just eat the clock and tee off on the QB on defense.
Those two games most likely cost Tenn a chance at the post season. Still, the BYE is at a good time and anything could happen. Here's hoping.

Record is what the team is. D stood up in both of those.
You could say we would have won Jags/Broncos/Bills if the OL and/or K had done their job at least at 25%

5-5 is bang on. We have potential but will only go so far with the holes we have - OL issues, conservative / archaic offense, coaching and limited pass rush. Thoroughly enjoyed that win last weekend but still see us finishing around 8-8.

So we control our own destiny....
If we sweep the Texans then we can afford to lose to either the Raiders or Saints and we still make the playoffs
If we win 3 of 4 with a lose to the Texans Then currently our odds of making the playoffs are 74% per the NYT playoff simulator
We need Steelers to lose 2 and Colts to lose one to get in if we lose to Saints
