Basically, the snap count is very predictable and defenses are allowed to get a jump and put the OL at a big disadvantage. Don't know if this is an OC or QB issue, but I think this has a big hand in the protection problems. And why Saffold has had a difficult time adjusting and showing issues he's never exhibited in the past.

Sounds like a reasonably intriguing post from someone who has the inside scoop.

Just be honest. You know exactly when every snap is coming while you're watching at home. Watch Rodgers or some other elite QB and compare that to the pre snap regime that we have.
 
I'd believe that. MM8 can't even do a snap count as good as another QB. Hutt Hutt Hutt.....The man is just a football idiot with no game.

Guy who thinks Mariota is good and constantly makes excuses for him vs a guy who had direct access to the thought process of the players and actually knows what he's seeing. I'll give the latter more credibility.

Any relative of a player is hardly going to come out and say their relative is playing poorly...

In saying that, its an angle no one else has mentioned for the poor offensive play we've seen through 5 weeks.
 
But wouldn’t that be like super easy to fix? Wouldn’t you like figure that out after 20 sacks?
 
FWIW, I'll blame Art. We were among the league's best at drawing teams offsides with Mularkey, and our line was one of the best. We've been one of the worst since, and the line has dropped off as a result.

This. MM8 was great at getting people to jump. So blaming him is dumb unless he has just forgotten to try it. It's more likely because of his OC's.

This is something to keep an eye on for the rest of the season.
 
Ahh. I see the "it's the OC," talk has started. Just a matter of time.

It's the three head coaches, five offensive coordinators, countless offensive linemen, and numerous wide receivers. Never the QB.

Marcus sucks. I'm attempting to negotiate with their low level comprehension skills, so that they can eventually accept this
