Or Frank just looks better because he was on better teams
 
It sucks, but I felt this was coming as soon as he got hurt last year. I wonder if he decides to hang em up instead of sticking around too long and potentially tarnishing his career. Not sure his ankle will ever be the same.
 
Sucks for DW to end it like this (at least in Tennessee).

And I agree on #1.

Frank was awesome, especially for Mac, but pound for pound receiving skills goes to DW and they both were very good blockers.
Not a slight on Frank at all.

There might be more to it. But the quote I saw said he tried to practise this week and had soreness in his ankle. Who knows.

Bums me alot he's not finishing the season. Been the vet for the past 2 3 years that made our big plays in the end zone and made me jump off the sofa.

Will be missed.
 
Dude has been a warrior here. Thank you for all that you have done for the Titans Delanie! I have nothing bad to say about this guy. I just wish he stayed healthier the last few years he played here.
 
Delanie Walker will go down as one of my favorite Titans of all time, you could even make the argument that if he would have been the greatest tight end in franchise history if he would have started his career here sooner. With that being said, his season ending injury 2 years ago was the beginning of the end. Jonnu Smith is the better player now anyway and will end up really good himself.

That's what every injured player says.
What is hess supposed to say? "My ankle is jacked and I should probably retire, but I'm trying to hang around for a while" ?
 
I agree with others though. Probably the beginning of the end for Walker as a Titan. (And most likely his career)

A great TE and played with more heart than any other Titan in quite a while. He'll be missed but the cap space will help if it's spent wisely.

Not sold Smith will ever learn to block. Year 3 and he seems lost out there if the ball isn't in his hands.

...but man is he dynamic with the ball.
