No, I say he is OVERRATED and OVERPAID....and has been for 3 seasons. NEXT....btw....tick, tock...still waiting on those 10 IMPACT PLAYS FOR THIS SEASON to be posted here. BTW, a impact play for point of discussion is a SACK, INTERCEPTION, TACKLE FOR LOSS or FORCED FUMBLE.
As defined by YOU. Why do you get to decide what an "impact play" is?

I think that’s pretty established....a sack, a tackle for loss, a interception, of a forced fumble.....you know....plays that Impact the game.

Oh there are plenty of ways to "impact the game" without recording a sack, tfl, int, or ff... That is just silly to say that.

No what’s silly is trying to quantify plays that not easily tracked.....I am open to adding to the list....if you think of any more.

Your logic is so flawed it is ridiculous.

If a DT pressures a qb, almost a sack, and the qb tosses a pass off to just get rid of it and turns into an INT... then the DT had an impact play even if there is no stat on his sheet.

How about when Dion Sanders played and qbs would refuse to throw to his side of the field. So Dion finishes the game with 0 on the stat sheet, but he completely and entirely impacted the game.

Takes a real moron to not get that.

We can add pressures....they are harder to quantify however...often open to debate....a sack is a sack however, all my listed impact plays are easily quantifiable

Once again, you are not the person who gets to set what is considered an impact play. Either way, I havent seen a single post, ever, from you worth reading. You are now placed on my ignore list. Goodbye.

Or if Landry gets home for a sack because the qb could not step up in the pocket because Casey got pushback or penetration. Sack would not have happened without Casey. Impact.

Not a quantifiable stat...good try tho

*Casey has 3 sacks so there's 3
*He has 3 tackles for losses, 2 against the Bucs with the last one ending the game and 1 vs Indy so there's 6
* He has 1 forced fumble (ATL), 7
*2 fumble recoveries (ATL & LAC which he ended the game), 9
*10 qb Pressures/7qb hits- I’m sure out of all those pressures and hits he impacted at least 1 play.

With all that being said he’s been relatively quiet this season. He’s had his games where he showed up but it’s come sporadically. Hopefully these next couple of games he can turn it on because the season is on the line. Not much time left.

So 7 impact plays

Don’t back pedal. All 10 fall under your ”impact plays” that you specifically listed.
I counted 7, I mean fumble recoveries included and it’s 9....and one of those happened when he was laying on his rather large behind and the ball landed into his sizable lap...
P.s. pressures are too, let’s say nebulous, to really track....I mean ....is a pressure one step away, two steps, do you have to touch the qb.....or if I am mistaken and there is a NFL policy for what constitutes a qb pressure I would like to know

A fumble is a fumble, a sack is sack. There isn’t a category for how it looked, at the end of the day it still shows up on the stat sheet.

Wait...are you bragging that our dt only created 10 plays in 14 games...lmao

Nope u asked for 10 impact plays and I gave you 10. Because they didn’t happen the way you wanted it apparently it doesn’t count. It’s all good. Deuces :howdy:
