Bounce back? He’s turning 34 and has been bad in 3 straight playoffs. There’s no bouncing back, he is what he is at this point. A choker in the playoffs.

Let’s break down the 3 int’s:

1st was because he was late af on the throw and had Julio become a sitting duck.

2nd was because he couldn’t read the defense.

3rd wasn’t completely awful, more of a great defensive play.

Then there was pass thrown way behind AJ Brown and at least two runs he easily should have had for the first down’s if he didn’t hesitate so much. All ending up being crucial drive killers.

I agree with most of this. The first INT was egregious, Julio was wide open and that ball should have been thrown well before Julio made his break. Instead Tannehill, who had a clean pocket, sat there and waited until Julio nearly finished his break to make that throw.

The only area I disagree with is the third INT. He forced that ball to NWI who was well covered. To me, that pass was just as bad as the first INT.

Yep. We will win the division next year. Almost guaranteed. Our Division sucks. And then we will get to watch this shiot again. It's almost money.

The 54 million he’s due is the exact problem with the NFL! Put performance clauses in the contracts make it a low base with high bonuses for performance or something

There is a zero point zero % chance Tannehill is not back next year. You can blame the GM for giving him such a ridiculous contract.

You need an elite QB to win now days. Simple as that. 10 years ago Henry and this defense would win a championship. Not in todays football. Without a superstar QB (especially in the AFC) whats the point to keep investing energy in this squad? The same result is inevitable.

I've been saying this for years, proformence based contracts, quit paying these guys based on what they did in the past. Divide the season into 4 quarters/periods a season, if you meet expectations you make more money exceed expectations you can make more. But bad play can lose you money too.

Not if we can convince a team to take that money for some picks. I'd easily give up our first pick just to dump him. Then we can talk to Seattle

So you're gonna dump a first to dump Tannehill. We have no second.

Then you're going to talk to Seattle and offer them what exactly?

That's why you go for broke and get Wilson, he's got more tread on the tires than Rodgers and if we can't sign some people back it's the the sacrifice we gotta make.

Then what? We have no cap, no picks, 1.5 receivers and an aging Derrick henry? That's a fast track to being a bottom feeder for 5+ yeara

Whatever it takes, our window is closed if we keep tanny period. We have 0 chance with him at qb, we've seen the results.

Tanne is basically like Alex Smith before he went to Washington. Good enough to win you a lot of games, but he isn't gonna win a game a single handedly in the playoffs. The Chiefs were smart enough to draft his replacement then trade him off while he was still valuable. Hopefully we do the same.

what we gotta give up to get him though though? Without ripping apart the glue and depth of the team?

1st this year and our 23 1st, possibly more.

You already traded our first this year to dump tannys contract remember?

A 2023 first, likely to be back third of the round, for Wilson? Keep dreaming.

A third of the teams in the league will offer more.

And that assumes that Wilson was willing to come here in the first place.

Point being, we don't have "whatever it takes."
