You and I should've stuck with Houston instead of following out to Nashville.

Being a Texans fan would be fun right now.

Nah. Sadly, I left Houston the same year the Oilers did, and have never had any affinity for the Texans. Love my Astros and Rockets, but the Texans are just another team in the NFL. I was a fan of Steve McNair, Eddie George, Frank Wycheck etc, and that didn't change with the team's location...

I don’t feel the same as most of you about Robinson and Vrabel, at least not yet. I don’t blame them for giving Mariota a chance to prove his worth. I wanted to see that too. He’s been hurt every year. You wouldn’t want to get rid of him and then find out you had a great player that just wasn’t healthy. Regardless what happens the rest of the season, it’s clear to me that Mariota won’t be on this team next season. I believe Robinson and Vrabel deserve a chance to get their guy, Robinson for sure. I’m not disappointed with the players he has added to this team.

Y’all gonna be so sad when he “gets his guy” the team goes 4-12 and they both get fired.

Just to repeat the cycle all over again.

Couldn’t do it.

Loved warren Moon and the run n shoot. Had no idea that the chris chandler/Gary brown/chris sanders years were what I was really signing up for.

I agree. Being an Oilers fan in Georgia, I was so happy they were coming closer to where I was at.

Looking at things today, I wish I would've left my heart in Houston no matter what. Would love Watson and Hopkins right about now.

Oh well, I'll always follow this team no matter what.

Grew up in northwest PA. I knew to hate the Steelers early on. Still do to a very high level. Should of jumped on the Browns or bills. At least they tailgate like the best of them.

I know, but who cares if malarkey/Robiskie were ever shut out?

If they were, ok, Vrabel may not be worse?
If they weren’t, they still weren’t good enough to be coaching.

Exactly. But they were somehow better than Vrabel and his staff.

To think JRob got “his guy” at HC, the team regresses and y’all want this man to draft the next QB?

Straight comedy.

How much say does Vrabel have in that?
I really don’t see how a GM has “his guy” because that’s not his job but I have seen that argument about him not drafting MM.

I have no beef with them all going but I think it’s fair to say AAS needs to pass the team to someone more interested in winning and maybe has any idea how to do so.

You may be right. But all this credit Mularkey is getting all of a sudden had a whole lot to do with the roster turnover. We were having those 4-12 type seasons with no end in sight. How do you get rid of the guy who pulled us out of that and not even let him get a QB?

Watching Mary’s Denver post game, the guy has no fire, no will. He’s too matter of fact. He can’t possibly lead us to believe he has confidence he’ll bounce back and become a better QB.

His next chapter is as a back up then out if the NFL.

I can actually see him being a longtime journeyman backup type. He's perfect for a backup role. Works and studies and has a good attitude. And his demeanor works better as a 2.

Curious if JRob/AAS realize that the coaching staff doesn’t have anything to do with the salary cap?
It goes deeper than Jrob, you know Titans always and always do the easy, lazy, cheap hire within and promote idea with the same outcome every time! Fail. Insanity.

Against basically prevent defense
But still played with more confidence than Mary
The confidence is what intrigued me. At the very least THill believes he can get it done, MM Is lost, broken and has lost all confidence.

This team is playing worst with him than “the other HC” before him that got into the playoffs the year before.
Oh I know, I didnt mind him, but you would have been burned at the stake for saying something positive about him on here last year

Well, inept Art finally wised up and went tempo and no huddle to change rhythm and it did help. Why didn't he do it in the first half is what really bothers me.

O-line coach needs to be fired immediately. No excuse for such poor play from quality players

Mularkey, JRob, and Vrabel have built a line that can do nothing but run block in a power-run scheme. The unit as a whole needs to be replaced if we ever want to see a successful vertical passing game.

I wouldn't include Mularkey.

At least under Mularkey we had time to throw the ball.

Also, remember that Conklin was great under Mularkey, regardless if it was max protect.
