What an uncomfortable situation.
I realize that the Coaches may not have been happy with Billy's play so far this preseason, but yet again, I wish they would have handled the whole situation differently.
I think the Titans need to flat out release Billy so that he could seek signing with other teams. The more time that goes by, the more it hurts Billy's chances of landing with another team. Heck, the Browns had Feely and Fiedler in today for work outs.
I know, I know... this is a brutal business :banned:
Wow Everytime i read this board i thank god for Reese.
So many of the FO wannabees out there are all about doing what's right for the player.
How many times did we read "Release Mcnair now it's the best thing for him"?
Now these self apointed FO genius' are screaming RELEASE BILLY NOW!! while he still has a chance to get on with another team.
WHAT ABOUT WHAT'S BEST FOR THE TITANS?? Obviously releasing Billy IS NOT what is best for the team
Next thing there'll be protests in front of Baptist park saying "don't make the players practice so hard they're tired!"
