AB smart. Doesn't care about the money, cares about his legacy and trying to win a superbowl (he's never won one).

By any means necessary to get that ring. Haters gonna hate but I respect the hustle.

Smart?

Yeah he is smart that sacrificed his brand new 3 year 50 MM contract? To sign a 1 year incentive laden deal? Only to hit the market at 32 years old next year? That's smart.

Agreed .

And going to the Raiders wasn't his decision... he was traded.

He played the system.

Lmao!!!! Good one!!

He could have shot down a trade to Oakland this off-season, he chose to go there.

Obviously the Pats are always good but this is one of their more stacked teams in awhile!

I bet each of the Raiders’ captains feel stupid after standing up with AB in an “emotional” team meeting.

This AB is a total diva head case. And f*ck the NFL for not suspending AB for conduct detrimental. How does a player who is publicly insubordinate and taunts and embarrasses the league over the safety issues not face any repurcussions? It is BS that he allowed to play especially for another team like the Pats.

We all know what that's about, another Patriots SB. It's a goddamn shame when you can phone in the season before the 1st game.

AB choosing 15 million for 1 year rather than 30 million over 3 years. Smart. Public just will take a few days to understand it. Also getting a super bowl ring is great for his brand. That’s smart.

Different way about it, but darelle Revis pulled big 1 year contracts too.

Brown was taking a massive risk in terms of earnings. There was an avenue where the Raiders could have basically not paid him anything, but shelved him so he couldn't play for anyone else. He could have flat out lost $30M in guaranteed income. Not smart.

Not sure why you keep calling him smart.

Then you'd likely have a NFLPA issue anyway. The most likely explanation is Brown is just a freaking lunatic and rolled the dice on that much money to get out of Oakland.

AB reportedly roasted Raiders DBs in practice all day Wednesday then faked a hamstring injury

He played Oakland

LOL...Belicheat just took the 5th in his pregame interview, saying that AB is not on the roster yet. What a clown LOL.

This stinks to high heaven IMO...not much that can be done about it though.

They just traded D. Thomas to the jets for a 6th round pick and they just cut him last friday. Wow it just seems like league is rigged for the patriots!

At his age, giving up $30m guaranteed is just dumb.

AB is not smart enough to have planned this out.
