re CIEPTEDDude there's a post after that clearly showing I was willing to lol... Let it go man
Actually, didn't we already have the 1st invested in Davis prior? All this “makes no sense to bring in a big time WR” talk.
Why the hell did we draft a WR at #5?
Equally as a big a waste only riskier by nevertheless knowing if he was actually worthy a first.
For all the argument not to go after Cooper, it’s seems the same argument is why we shouldn’t have drafted Davis.
The first was invested prior to the Cooper trade but the exact same argument of “why waste a first on a WR” applies to both situations.Actually, didn't we already have the 1st invested in Davis prior?
So... spend 2 Firsts for WRs? In a row?
If the trade for Cooper had happened prior to drafting Davis, then agreed.
Um, Corey Davis was drafted the offseason after Mariota had his best statistical year. There was optimism about the future of the passing game. Cooper became available when it was pretty evident that Mariota wasn’t going to get any better. So, the situations were absolutely different. The first was invested prior to the Cooper trade but the exact same argument of “why waste a first on a WR” applies to both situations.
I’m sure we can refer to the thread logs and find that plenty were on board with wasting a first for Davis but then used the “wasted on WR” argument when Cooper was “available”.
Then after 2 very no statistical seasons, the argument was that MM didn’t have enough weapons. On to the draft, how many votes were for Brown in the first but still more than excited in the 2nd.Um, Corey Davis was drafted the offseason after Mariota had his best statistical year. I am. I will continue to do so until we have a real QB behind center. Is there anyone still defending that pick?
I have no idea what you are arguing about or trying to defend. Then after 2 very no statistical seasons, the argument was that MM didn’t have enough weapons. On to the draft, how many votes were for Brown in the first but still more than excited in the 2nd.
If this is a known Issue that WR are a waste here, no reason we shouldnt be riding the Tajae Sharpes of the world and castoff FA like humphries. Honestly, he even seems like an expensive waste.
The same people that do t want to spend a first on Cooper we’re perfectly ok with a 1 on Davis and a 2 on brown but also bring the argument of WR being wasted in Tennessee in general.I have no idea what you are arguing about or trying to defend.
I don’t think it’s Davis, I think it’s our offense.Yes.
Is there anyone still defending that pick?
JRob is a bad GM. He makes mostly bad picks.
So, it would've been wasted on Amari, as well... and we wouldn't have a big contract - yet.I don’t think it’s Davis, I think it’s our offense.
So the pick may not have been bad if we ran an offense that used him. Since we don’t, the pick as a WR in general was bad.
That’s how i see it. I mean the most successful MM was is with trash and walker. So, it would've been wasted on Amari, as well... and we wouldn't have a big contract - yet.
