I don’t know having sex with Goodell’s wife actually gets even for the situation, we all know Goodell doesn’t care about safety.

I’m sure brown just wants the day off practice and may go for some more, he’ll still put up numbers this year. I do expect the media to draw this out more than just 1 day.

What I think is that his case is legit, but as Mayok noted, he has no recourse at this point. The NFL had to play hardball to stay out of court. But I do think it would have been fairer to grandfather the policy so that the older players could continue to wear their helmets until they retired, but perhaps signing a legal waiver. I liken it to hockey players and their helmets, baseball netting, or to Borg and his crappy wooden racket. But I totally get why the NFL is playing hardball on this because it's a real legal issue for them focused on their existance as a sport.

The idiocy of the entire thing is the Kelso puffy helmet is the answer. But it does look stupid. And I mean real stupid. Still sitting in the NFL HOF though.

Things could be worse for AB/Raiders.

He could be injury prone/always in legal trouble like some of the elite talents around have been.

Guy is just a diva, and hes good enough you just grab your popcorn if youre tuned in and wait for the stats to pile up.

It’s probably just a matter of time before he’s in legal trouble if he doesn’t stop throwing furniture out high rises

This is what it boils down to. If there were no lawsuits, there would be no changes to the helmets.

I also agree with the lawsuits. Players were being lied to

I am 48 years old. I dont know how it all ties in, but 40 years ago as a child I knew that football had its consequences. If you were good enough to play in the NFL, you were sacrificing your body for your future and even more importantly your family's future. No different than a boxer. You are going to leave impaired, is it worth it to provide your family with millions? To give your children an opportunity that they would never have if you were not willing to do it, is it worth it? In most cases my answer would be yes.

He's been sued like 4 times for not paying people and almost killed some people throwing furniture... That along with all the other BS he's been pulling lately would be enough for me to not want to deal with the dude, good football player or not.

I would have bet anything that you were like 18 years old.
