My Mahomes comment was a direct response to you talking about how mahomes is still the amazing threat he was last year. Just wanted to make sure you remembered the titans

Until yards determine the winner, yards are meaningless. If Lamar has 500 yards on our defense and Titans have 296 yards, but we score more points ... who wins? :)

The good news is that we can both leave this game happy. You want the Ravens to have more yards, I want the Titans to have more points ... very possible we both get what we want. ;) Then, you can go high five a Pats fan and brag about how y'all had more yards than us. :p

A ravens fan called into 102.5 The Game earlier and was like "Yo, Blaine, why you saying if BDH has 80 yards or more rushing I feel confident Titans will be in the game? Since week 7 several RBs that had over 80 yards against the Ravens ended up losing the game to the Ravens."

The teams were the Bungles, Jets, Bills, 49ers and one other team. This isn't comparing apples to apples, every team is built differently. Not to mention some of the teams absolutely suck. Just let the damn game play out and let's see what happens.

So, I'm an old Oilers/Titans fan. And I tell you, it hasn't been easy. Tons of letdown yet I continue to drag along. Out of all that disappointment, the two worse losses for me in all of the franchise history, are not the Oilers blowing 32 point lead to the Bills or Joe Montana beating a great Oiler team. Not even the Super Bowl loss.

Yep, it's those two losses to Baltimore in 2000 and 2008. In 2000, the Ravens had 6 first downs and 134 yard of offense, won by 2 td's. In 2008, Titans had 3 turnovers in Ravens territory and lost by a fg (after the no call delay of game).

Doesn't it make sense that the Titans pull this out on Saturday? When all things favor the Ravens, the Titans ruin their season. Isn't that cosmic justice?

Give it to me straight, I've come a long way... So you're telling me there's a chance?

Agreed. The fans remember those games but none of the players on these teams do. Doesn't mean anything to them - they just want to win.

Using yds/gm is not a very good indicator of how good a run defense is because it says nothing about the number of attempts....The Ravens had the fewest attempts in the league....a better indicator is yds/carry in which the Ravens were 12th worst and Titans were 7th best.
 
Uuuuuhg! Had to fly to Salt Lake City for my wife’s grandmas 90th. Anyone know a titans bar in SLC I can watch the game at Saturday?

You are not good at this at all. I will guarantee you if the Ravens roll up 500 yards on Saturday, not only will the Titans lose, it will be a blow out of epic proportions as in the Ravens may drop 50 on the Titans in that game. The rest of your gibberish I will.simply say, don't quit your day job. You are neither funny or witty.
