Hopefully the Titans finally realize that Woodside isn’t even a 3rd string NFL QB. Zero potential. Kinda scary they thought he was good enough to be the #2 all of last season.
Woodside looked like playoff Tannehill lolWoodside throws 24 passes and Willis 11 tonight.
Guess which one had the most passing yards?

Whole lot of Willis hype.
I saw just what I saw when looking at his highlights...he doesn't seem particularly shifty or fast...wants to run every play, but I don't think he will be able to outrun defenders in the NFL as much as he did in college. . But he does possess a strong arm. If he learns to read defenses/stay in the pocket he stands a chance, I guess. But I don't see him as a future NFL starter at this point. Time will tell, I guess.

Only way Willis starts a game is if tanne is hurt imo.I agree. Willis might just end up being the starter by the end of the season. Hopefully, Tanny does well and Willis continues to learn and progress this season.
The staff wants to see if Willis can read the defense, stay in the pocket, and deliver the ball decisively.
Willis couldn't find a receiver all night. He drops back, looks, looks, looks, avoids a sack and runs out of bounds. I know it's his first action in the NFL, but it wasn't pretty. The pass to McMath wasn't exactly a laser beam. He's lucky the defender got lost on that one.
Rookie QBs have to figure out that no one is open in the NFL like they were in College. He's going to have to thread needles in the NFL.
