Cousins lost for the season and Golden State just blew a 31 point lead to the Clippers. The Rockets last year were a Chris Paul hamstring away from knocking off “the greatest team ever assembled” and I believe the Rockets, assuming everyone can stay healthy, are a better team this year than last year.

no, and the warriors didnt have cousins most of this season and 0 of last season so... they'll be fine

Because one thread today about the Houston Rockets was not enough, we needed another

Cousins is a bad matchup for Houston though, Capela is a slimmer and agile defensive center that got bullied by Cousins’ size last time.

Golden state still has to much fire power. That should be a very good series but I expect GS to go to the finals once again. I’d like to see a matchup with Philly but the Bucks are crushing every team in their way

People sleeping on Houston too much, they have the real MVP (they’re going to give it to Giannis because it makes a good story) and a lot of depth, they dealt with a lot of injuries this year and took GS to 7 games without CP3 the final two games and even had a double digit lead at one point in game 6 and 7. Warriors and Rockets will once again go to 7 games next round.

Harden so good and unique offensively, he made teams invent a very strange and unorthodox defensive strategy lol

Def not sleeping on em and I think Houston is very nice. In fact they just set a record for like 30 3s in a game. The difference is GS know how’s to win when it matters most and has won titles back to back while Houston chokes deep in the playoffs. I’m not even gonna touch “the real mvp” talk based on a better story. You willing to bet 3k moolah the Warriors beat Houston in a series when they meet?

If the Rockets cared about playing basketball as much as they cared about complaining to the refs they might have a chance at this thing.

Harden is hated by the media and other fans because of how he “manipulates” the refs but even his critics are calling out how the refs were out to get him and refused to call blatant fouls when Thompson wouldn’t let him land. Letting the shooter land has been a 101 foul since the Bruce Bowen days. Are you trolling or do you not understand basic rules of the game? Honest question.

Klay Thompson did it three times in the first half. Absolutely right.

The one by Paul in the third quarter and the one by Harden on the last possession were obvious violations of the Reggie Miller rule. It looked like someone shoved Paul from behind, even though no one was there. Lol.

You're a Rockets fan. You know the Rockets complain to the refs nonstop throughout the game. They do it all the time because they foul hunt, which is a shame because they have a good team. They could win a lot of games playing straight up.

KD ran right by CP3 as he was yelling at a ref on the fast break. James Harden did that a few times against the Jazz. When it's a close game in what will probably be a close series, those possessions count. Maybe don't stand at half court and bitch about something you can't control and play a little defense in what ended up a one-possession game?

James Harden shoots this from three feet behind the line. Lands inside it. Apparently his landing zone is anywhere on the court.

Nice push off too.
