I think DHop is 1 guy that actually could garner trade interest. He is on a cheap deal with another yr left on it. Part of the reason he was available in FA was teams weren’t sure how healthy he was. I think he has shown that he still has game.

I do not want to trade him.

What trade offer would it take for you to trade DHop???

I can't see it being anything higher than a 5th round pick...

GMs would understand we're cutting our losses and rebuilding, and as a result would look to hold us hostage at the negotiating table.

A guy who remained unsigned until well into the offseason. I don't see too many wanting him

He's too valuable to a rookie, or 2nd year QB to trade. You can't throw Willis or Levis out there with no weapons and expect them to succeed. With D-Hop at least you can find out if either one of them can be your starter next year.

If someone offered a 3rd, I would at least listen, since we don't have a 3rd next year. But it would probably take a 3rd plus a player or day 3 pick to get me to move him, and nobody is giving that up for him.

Something else that hurts his trade value is playing for the Titans. We are a run first team, with a line that can't give the QB time to throw and get the ball to him. So his stats have suffered because of who he plays for.

I’m kinda on this train of thought. Levis has the best upside. We know what Willis is and what tannehill isn’t. Let’s see what Levis is so we know if we need to spend a first in a qb.
realistically, what would Levis need to do for Titan's fans to say "yep, he is our guy"?

I know for me to say that it would take quite a bit, and it just isnt possible with the team we currently have.

We will be looking for a QB at the end of the season, no matter what.

dont want to trade hopkins. would like him to be here to help malik/levis progress. otherwise we gonna let them learn with a combo of burks/nwi??? no thanks

By virtue that means ????/ NWI.
Moore just got killed, Burks Vader breathing apparatus doesn’t seem to be working all the way, Philips maybe?

no matter, not the dream team for any young QB to work with.

Progress from his first game towards last.
Strong arm, confident decisions, good ball placement.

I fully anticipate that Levis will throw some INT but will also impress with some other strong throws whether deep ball or tight window.

To be clear, this is what I want to see for consideration of “that guy”. I think he’ll have more than this year.
I also don’t see the titans going after a QB in 2024 unless they let Willis go and need a backup. Outside catastrophic Mettenberger type failures, I think they move on with Levis as the guy or backup until ready.

MHJ/NWI

on the real though... how hard would it be to get a WR from the Giants? I'm sure they're all dying to get out of there. Please go get Slayton or Campbell and give this O even a small trickle of hope.
