I know that it might all change next week, here's hoping so...

But a lot of people said we'd get around the .500 mark this season, now, after the Jets game, is that crazy talk?

I'll still stick with my 6 wins. This last game did not help but who knows how the season will change over the coming weeks.

Okay, let's see here...Two wins, both against Houston. Possibly Buffalo. And maybe New England because they may not give a ****.

well, John Clayton just called us the worst team in football, and said we'd be 0-6 by week 6.

But me, I'm more optimistic. I think we will definately cover the spread next week, and have a shot at steeling it.

I dunno why everybody thinks the Jets are such a horrible team, they played better than us last season, with BROOKS BOLLINGER at QB. This year they exchange Brooks for a Pro Bowl caliber QB. Lets not forget, a few years ago, CP to LC was a pretty nice combo.

So my bold predictions for this week:
Jets beat Pats
and the Titans.....well lets just say they wont go 0-6.

As is ours. We shall see, but saying that we are guaranteed two wins against Houston is not realistic, we just go beaten by the Mets, in our place, by a guy with a robotic arm, who looked better than he has since the spanking in the playoffs at least 4 years ago.

based on what?

their offense could actually be worse then last year.

Based on what. Our QB with a 102 QB rating or our WR with 101 yards.

Our O-line will come together and so will our run game.

5 sacks and no running game/DD.

And Carr being 12 of 15 to 18 of 27 or something along those lines.

Though I will admit, Demeco Ryans will be huge for you guys.

I think LenDale White getting healthy will be the first step to rectifying the run game. I hate to pin all my hopes on an untested rookie, but look at this way. When our o-line doesn't move anyone, he should be able to pound out 1 or 2. But when our o-line blocks like it did at time in the 4th quarter, he'll be a threat to take it to the house. I just thought that Chris Brown looked a little tenative at times. I'd like to see him hit the holes harder. It's obvious he and Henry have the talent if we could get more blocking though.

It doesn't matter yet. From what I seen, we are in for a long season, but we should still be competitve in every game. I think we are capable of making a run, but we play in too strong of a division for us to do anything, this year at least. I'm just going to sit back, and enjoy the games. Whatever happens, happens.

Then it must be true. Look me up in week six and rub it in my face. Let this be known as the great John Clayton litmus test of '06.
