to come back to his home team and take over Oline coaching duties. If he is willing to be the oline coach for the Steelers and now with the Broncos, how could he possibly refuse to return to his beloved franchise?

uh because we fired him....
So? You think he would be the first person in the history of the world to return to a place he was once fired at? He is an adult and I am sure mature enough to handle the situation fine.

Guys, there are plenty of qualified o-line coaches out there. Munchak isn't the only one.

Why we haven't been able to find one over the last....8 years, I have no idea.

Also.... it was almost an entirely different regime that fired Munchak. Different owner and GM at the very least. Hell, that could even be a breaking the ice topic... We are sorry how that last GM did ya. We know how vital you have been to this franchise... etc.

Yes, but how many that are considered quality have such a strong connection to this franchise?

Our line problems are coaching, chemistry, and scheme. We don’t have overly athletic linemen...They are old school run block type of guys.

All but one of them have not been fired from this franchise.

He left Steelers for Denver in a completely lateral move to be close to his daughter and grandchild. He’s not coming back here in another lateral move away from the reason he left the Steelers. Just. Not. Happening.

Get over it.

I'm sure we can go get other experienced coaches to fix the line. But titans will do titan things and save money and probably promote the current janitor.

It’d be relatively easy to fire Carter and hire someone else. It should happen, yesterday. If it doesn’t happen, Vrabel is not suited to be a HC.

I could be wrong... but doesn't his own assistant have more Oline coaching experience than him?

Yea, Mike Sullivan he's the assistant offensive line coach. Coached in Cleveland and in SD. Had a good stretch in SD. They had a top 10 offense 3 out of the 4 yrs and Rivers made the pro bowl 3 straight yrs too during that time. Put up some solid numbers also during that time. Not sure how Carter got the nod over him tbh given the resume and experience.
