It’s always amazed me that there aren’t 32 guys in the United States than can kick a football through the uprights from 50 yards consistently in order to get paid millions per year.

Sometimes these guys just need a new start.

Josh Lambo got cut by the Chargers after going about 81% over two seasons at San Diego. He's making them at like 95% in Jacksonville since 2017.

Because FG kicking is easy.

More to the point, it's interesting how difficult something so "small" in football is such a rare talent to have.

JRob should have kept Aldrick Rosas and let Succop go instead of giving him a big contract. We would have had a great kicker for years to come. Also made no sense not to have a young kicker during the pre season with Succop injured. That made absolutely NO SENSE. As bad as JRob has been at signing and drafting linemen, both offensive and defensive, I’m seriously starting to doubt his ability as a GM. You can’t win in football with bad lines on both sides of the ball. The only good defensive lineman is Casey and he was drafted by Ruston Webster. Our best offensive lineman, Lewan, was also drafted by Webster. Outside a couple good free agents from the Patriots and a couple late round steals in the draft, the guy hasn’t impressed me whatsoever.

Since the first time my grandson told me he wants to play football I have stressed how important kickers are... You can make millions and no one is allowed to hit you. Of course he wants to play QB (and did his first season) but I am still working on talking him out of that.

The trick is making them play soccer ages 6-10. Then when they discover football is better you transition

That was a mistake I'd like to have back raising my son. He thought soccer was lame and didnt develope the skills he could have. I played soccer before football and could kick within 35-yard line with ease, so I know soccer sets you up.
