SUMMARY: The Titans agreed to terms today with former Steelers safety Chris Hope. Hope visited the Titans on Monday and the Dolphins on Tuesday. He was scheduled to visit with the 49ers but decided against it. Hope finished with 97 tackles last season with three interceptions. The 5-foot-11-inch, 206 pound safety was a third-round draft pick in 2002 from Florida State.

Man what a terrific off-season.

OK guys, I really Hope we can stop with all these puns. They are really starting to get lame.

Well Tank is already bye-bye and Lamont might just become our highest paid special teamer, depending on Fuller's abilities.

I wanted Tank to remain a Titan.

Fuller is a FS so unless they're moving him to SS - he ain't gonna compete with Lamont for the SS Job

This is awesome. I called this a while back.

I think we should resign Tank on an incentive contract. This will be his second year back from major knee surgery. So he could play a lot better this year. I'd prefer Tank over Thompson, but I'll take Fuller over both of 'em.

Why would Tank sign an incentive-laden contract when he doesn't have a starting job?

Tank is gone...

Not if we resign Tank. I don't think Tank would have been a starter ever since his rookie year if he wasn't good enough, and from statements Fisher has made I think he'd prefer Tank over Thompson at SS, especially with Tank being two years removed from major knee surgery.

$$$ that's the difference. They just paid Lamont a big bonus. Why do that then demote him?
