VolnTitan said:I agree Jeff. Seen him play since high school. Is he good? Absolutely. Better than Young or Leinhart to be taken at #3? Not imo. And for the "talent around him" arguement....are you saying Vandy has NEVER played a team that they had superior talent than? Can you say MTSU?
It was about time that Andy Mac got fired. MTSU has talent-Andy Mac didnt know Xs and Os but he knew how to recruit. If Jay was on MTSU, Vandy wouldnt have a prayerTitanJeff said:MTSU has been horrible the last couple of seasons. They were 0-3 heading into that game and ended the year at 4-7. They gave up 34 or more points to teams like Louisiana-Monroe and Florida International. Their head coach was fired.
They do play inspired football against Vandy but that doesn't mean Middle has had much these last two seasons.

Such as? The only quality NFL player I know of is Holcomb and he wasn't drafted.Soxcat said:And MTSU consistently produces as many of more NFL quality players each year as Vandy.

Vandy has/had a number of quality players in the NFL from their defense over the years. Jamie Duncan, Jamie Winborn and Corey Chavous just to name a few.
