Every year there’s debates over and over about the forever long list of Xmas movies that exist, is Die Hard an Xmas movie or not, etc.

Planes, trains, and automobiles is the first that comes to mind but this is all I’ve got.

Dutch (with ed o’neil)
National lampoons family reunion (never actually seen)
Home for the holidays (also never seen)
Charlie Brown thanksgiving

What else can you add to the short list.

Amazon has a dumb horror/thanksgiving movie called thankskilling. Extremely cheesy but got some funny moments but like over the top horror funny, not comedy funny.

Not a whole lot, really.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles... not sure how you miss that one. A MUST WATCH EVERY YEAR.

Ya, didn’t miss PTandA, it’s the first movie I listed.

I regret having watched Paul blart once but didn’t remember that it’s taking place on Black Friday. With such a short list, it’s as much a thanksgiving movie as any I suppose.

I think with college football bowl season coming up a classic thanksgiving movie is The Waterboy this time of year.

for the Bourbon Bowl.. lol

That’s a good list.

Most of them I’ve never heard of and some that I’ve seen have maybe a scene or 2 actually involving thanksgiving.

For ex: I don’t hear a lot of people saying “man, it’s thanksgiving, time to watch rocky 2”.
People do say this for tons of Xmas movies.

PT and A is probably tops. I liked Dutch myself. There’s a couple on that list I’ll look for to see if they’re any good.

Dutch was a good movie.

I think Bed of Roses was about thanksgiving, idk

That National Lampoon's Thanksgiving Family Reunion movie was trash and the worst one of that franchise.
