With the emergence of Woodside and a healthy Mariota, they may be willing to mortgage the farm. I know it’s bad business to trade within your division, but Tannehill isn’t going to win the afc south with the colts. But what they may pay to get him could help us.

"A healthy mariota", yeah but for how long? That's the whole reason we got Tanne in the first place.

No.

Woodside has looked great. Trades are about leverage and we would have it. I don’t believe for one second that the colts believe Brissett is the answer, even in the short term. I like Tannehill, and I am glad we have him. But for the right picks, we could move a backup QB.

I hope you are right, But I feel they think they are talented enough at other positions to make a playoff push. Personally, I don’t see it.

I hope they don't go in full tank mode. Colts were built to make a run for the SB this year and beyond. Without Luck they're a 6-7 win team IMO.

We should all hope they win some games to stay out the way of getting another franchise QB. It's time for them to finally go into QB hell like the majority of the teams go through.

To be honest I don't either. It just seems a Colts thing to do. They have the weapons to still win half their games at minimum. TY gets his targets regardless of who is behind C. Also I don't think Frank Reich would go along with it if that was the mission.

Why? That’s the easiest path to a new QB if Mariota goes down and we only have woodside.
Well Jrob and Vrabel still have jobs to think about. How bad would it look if we traded Tannehill to the Colts and they end up winning the division? Especially if/when Mariota goes down again.

They will not tank on purpose. You just can’t do that in football, coach players to tanks. Tanking is done by gms gutting the team of talent, like the dolphins. The Colts have good players who have careers to play for and they will play hard. And Reich will definitely coach to win every game.

It would be a huge risk. Only would make sense if they overpaid, and they just might. Best way to beat your rival is to trade directly with them.....and win the trade. Take away a lot of future talent by giving them a little current talent.
