Under the category of "hit em while they're down" the Titans face a much tougher schedule next season than they had this season. The big thing is, we exchange the worst conference in football, the NFC West, for maybe the toughest, the NFC East. We went 1-3 against the lowly NFC West this season, beating only San Fran while losing to Seattle (the only good team in there), Arizona and St. Louis. Instead of that, next season we get the Giants, the Redskins, the Eagles and the Cowboys. With the Eagles probably back in contention next season, that looks to be a very competitive conference.
Oh, yeah, if that's not good news enough, we will also be traveling to San Diego and playing the Pats at home. Not only are the Chargers good, but the Titans generally stink it up on the west coast, and the Patriots are playing great football again. It looks like Baltimore will also be coming back here, and that's anything but a gimme.
The good news is that it looks to be a great schedule for the home fans. We have the Patriots, the Cowboys, the Giants, the Jets and the Ravens coming here in addition to the three AFC South foes, which of course includes the Colts and Jacksonville.
Some pretty good quarterbacks will be on display at the Coliseum. Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning and maybe Matt Leinart if the Jets get him. Also, Reggie Bush could be here with the Texans unless they blow the number-one pick.
