NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Saints talked to Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks coach Sean Payton an hour longer than scheduled on Thursday.
If it wasn't a sign that he's a front-runner for New Orleans' head coaching job, it was clear the Saints wanted his take on their uncertain quarterback situation.
"We talked about that," Payton said Thursday afternoon. "I enjoy coaching that position. I enjoy being involved in the offense. I would certainly look forward to being involved with that development."
