The $503 shown in this image includes the 2 years already on his deal, so it's really a 12 year deal.

I agree... it'll be an issue of whether Mahomes can do it himself or if it was really the collective greatness of his supporting cast.Lets see if they're able to keep replacing the talent now that they can't pay them!
He can make up to 50.3m/yr with incentives, and I read that there are escalations in it after a few years to keep pace with an inflating salary cap.Kid throws dimes for fun. Works out like 39 mil a year. Deal will be beneficial after like 2 years, bear in mind Russell Wilson is on 35 mill a year. This is a win for Kansas in my opinion. No denying this kid is talented worse thing that could happen is Andy Reid leaves then they hire someone like robiskie as OC.
Let’s see if they can still afford Chris Jones or have to trade him to us...Lets see if they're able to keep replacing the talent now that they can't pay them!
As of right now, the chiefs are between 3.5-6.2m under the 2020 cap with Chris Jones on the franchise tag (which he has refused to play under). They could surely sign him to a longer deal with less money in year 1 than the 16m he gets with the tag.Let’s see if they can still afford Chris Jones or have to trade him to us...
Thats not that interesting because you cant sign many of those names to those same rookie deals their bonded to right now. On the open market $45M can get you a lot, but a better list would include guys on contracts that were able to negotiate their current deals.Interesting...
Exactly. It's not interesting to have a list full of first and second rounders on their rookie deals.Thats not that interesting because you cant sign many of those names to those same rookie deals their bonded to right now. On paper that looks like a really solid group of names. If the NFL wants to add an expansion team you should throw your name out there.Exactly. It's not interesting to have a list full of first and second rounders on their rookie deals.

39mil a year if he takes the same crazy long term deal that mahomes did, that would make sense. not if its a 4-5 year deal though.Just read an article about Prescott and how Mahommes contract affects him...
seems the new number for Dak is 39mil a year. Please Dallas, sign him for 5 years 39mil a year.
