Since the “legal tampering” of FA officially begins today I figured it’d be good to start a thread on the signings across the league. If you come across a signing feel free to post it. If it gets deleted nothing personal, just means it may have been posted already.

Here’s a look at some of the teams state tax bracket that I’m sure may play a roll with a few players in order to maximize their contracts.

Rams agreed to terms with pass-rusher Dante Fowler Jr. on a 1-year deal worth $14M, source said.

Prepare to be frustrated.
Honestly this is one year I don't mind us not going after someone in fa. The class of free agents is rather weak, no one I want to overpay for. Tyrell Williams for 12+ mil a year... no thanks. I'm hoping we just find a couple good cap friendly deals to fill holes. The draft is loaded with our mains needs (dl, ol, wr). Justin Houston would be a nice addition to our pass rushers, but I wont be too disappointed if we dont get him.

The draft is supposed to be deep for the areas that we need help- pass rush, WR, OL. So missing out wouldn't be the end of the world. We'll be looking at Z. Smith and Humphries, but the price must be right. They offer consistency moreso than game-changing ability.

That's why I dislike both for us, neither guy wows you.

I'd take them since we need the help but not the players I'm hoping for.

In my mind we have 5 positions of need....pass rush includes an edge rusher and help for Casey inside, then you have interior OL ,WR, and S .....you don't want to go into the draft with 5 needs....ideally you go into the draft with no needs

If we cut our needs in half thru FA be happy

Drafts are good for 2-3 guys tops. We could patch this thing up nicely with 2 vets, and 2 rooks.

Kind of disagree. JR is always active this week.

Butler and Lewis felt like big free agent wins last March...

This is a time to get almost excited about what this team could be.

Butler? Big contract little production. Was benched by the Pats. Lewis good addition but not a marquee game changer. My point is that we just never sign a game changer. We overpay for medium (depth) talent but refuse to take a flier on proven game changers. Butler was a classic medium talent we overpayed.

I don’t disagree with the approach. I’m just pointing out that we never seem to land the big FA names. W

Finally a thread worthy of hundreds of posts. Off season moves of other teams. Lol at those that thought JRobbed would land AB. He's probably looking for the next ST ace or Pats reject as we speak.

Expect another trash off season where Amy will pocket 30M worth of cap that she will donate to her hometown of Houston
