It's probably going to be a few years before the world starts to go back to normal. States and countries may "Open" their economy but that does not mean business as usual. Mean, travel bans will be lifted, you can go out to eat and go back to work, but there will be stricter health guidelines, some degree of social distance requirements and it could be a while before big crowds return. Have 70,000 people in a stadium breathing on each other is probably not a good idea.
Major sports playing in empty stadiums is not unheard of. It has happened in major soccer leagues in Europe when fans have been acting up too much.
Some thoughts:

Some thoughts:
- I could see the greedy NFL try to sell some kind of "Stadium experience" TV package where you can only view one camera and get no commentary. Then charge $90 a game for it :sarcasm:
- It could be an opportunity for NFL though to have some fun with it. Play some games in HS stadiums, practice facilities, parks, etc. It would be better than looking at empty seats
- Indoor stadiums would be particularly problematic. You are better off outside, and in the sun, to reduce the risk of airborne disease
