McNicolls looked descent last night and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Fluellen hasn't been on the field so not have seen much of him. I know its only for the 3rd running back but a good competition for 3rd running back.
 
He looked good but so did Barnes last night.

I'm still in Flus corner until I see him play and suck

Nichols got in way earlier though. Had a really good run called back (although he also had a giant hole to run through)

In the end, it shouldnt really matter as neither will see the field that much.

Depends on how much of a role Vrabes wants flu to have as a FB

We been calling lot of single sets but its preseason so it doesn't mean that's what we are doing in regular season
 
i like flu better but if he cant play.... i dont see how we can keep him over mcnichols
 
I'd hate to see McNichols turn out to be Blount 2.0


Titans blew it on that one, and if they try to hide McNichols on the Practice Squad I can see him getting an offer from another team.
 
McNichols better make the team! Fluellen never plays in the regular season anyways seems like the coaches love him though.
 
3rd back will barely see the field unless they play special teams or Henry/Lewis get hurt.

That being said, Flu has stuck around this long and has the edge in experience and from what little he's played is decent for a 3rd RB.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's dumped though.
 
It’s possible that the Titans move on from Lewis in 2020. McNichols could be an option to step into that role.

McNichols would never go to our PS. He was the guy who got salty on Hard Knocks because the Bucs wanted to sign him to the PS. They ended up cutting him because he bailed on them.
 
Give McNichols the majority of the carries against the Steelers next Sunday and if he fares well, I would go with him over Flu.

Let's not pretend Flu has done something to warrant a roster spot.
 
Flu is a special teams captain, big hole to fill, somehow dude can’t seem or stay healthy too.

It is possible they move on for Lewis, especially if they want to re-sign Henry.

Things are going to start getting tighter with the cap in 2020.
 
I think we could keep 4. Flu seems to be bulking and figures to have some kind of FB role along with ST involvement. Admittedly his injury history is a concern.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable going into the season with just a banged up Henry and two scat backs (Lewis and McNichols).

Interesting to see how it plays out. Ill be annoyed if we let McNichols go at this point
