Everyone knows about the drama ending his career as a 6'-4" 240 lb RB at UT... Last season he played as a 220 lb WR at Baylor and actually looked natural at the position. I'd like to see him bulk back up and play a stretch TE role for us. It would be nice to have a hometown guy (Mr. Football at Beech High School) play for the titans. Im actually pretty nervous about DW coming back from at knee injury at 34 (father time is undefeated) and Jonnu was inconsistent, under performed (deer in headlights when DW got hurt) AND injured the same MCL 2 seasons in a row

Looks like he lost like 30lbs since his UT days. Looks much quicker and more agile.

I liked that more than anything he did at UT, ever.

I think we'd be better off going with a more proven WR. We're so raw at WR, makes little sense to invest in one of the most raw WR's of this class.

Sign a vet or spend a top pick on a WR

Maybe he is the next Arian Foster and I don't mean by position. Arian was doodoo at UT but damn when he got to the NFL he balled out.

You want a former RB, turned WR to play TE? No thanks.

Also, he's a quitter.
He could be a good hybrid in the NFL. Teams who don't run that often could line him up as a RB and have a legit receiver threat in the backfield. That could be valuable for a team like GB or KC.

PASS...he's a head case.....
Anyone who follows vols football knows that stuff was on Butch. There were multiple players that wanted out. Jauan Jennings was another. Hurd wanted to switch positions while splitting with Kamara, and Butch never made it happen. I would've wanted out too.

He was never built to be an RB. He made the right move for his NFL career.

Not talking about his time with the vols...but rather HS...

If no receiver selected in earlier rounds by Titans and if he is available, the day 3 4th round pick (121) by Titans will likely be: Jaylon Hurd WR 6'5 227 Baylor

Titans have met with Jaylon on multiple occasions over last few months.

All I see in here is a bunch of butt hurt vol fans. For no other reason than to piss the vol fans off, I say let's get em lol.
