CBS' Jason La Canfora reports ex-Rams coach Jeff Fisher is "in line" to coach Houston's XFL franchise.
With Fisher's nine NFL lives up, he has moved on to the minor leagues. He spent this winter/spring as the AAF's "director of football strategy." The XFL would seem to be a modest step up, but it is not the sort of thing that would put Fisher back on the NFL's radar. Now in his 60s, Fisher seems destined to remain forever tied with Dan Reeves for the most losses in NFL history.

why not? he's a vet coach. will be good for the ppl learning the ropes in a development league.

hate on him all you want but he's not a BAD coach, the nfl offenses just passed him by.

also he's a titans legend, i'd like to see old titans do well for themselves.

Hes arrogant

That's a bad quality

Remember he said he wasnt going to go 7-9? Told his players they better listen to him cause he knows his stuff... Then went 7-9

2 years later a rookie head coach had his QB looking like an MVP...

Fisher is trash, missed 2 Super Bowls with us while having the leagues best team...

im happy to see fisher get the shot he wanted
 
Fisher will excel for as long as XFL exists.

He loves under the radar guys (because they’re not good), he loves converting players to the wrong position, and he plays pretty sound defense.

The only thing that hurts, is he loves FG which will be boring and actually hurt the XFL.

True story. Went to Gallatiore’s for dinner pre MNF game (Sunday) v Saints 07 . 8 of us (4 couples). Fisher there with wife. Apparently heard our conversation, pulled up a chair had a drink with us. Titans went on to SPANK Saints next night (Bullock 3 INTs). Those were the days........
 
Fisher might not be one of the greatest coaches of all time, but he is one of the greatest trolls of all time.
