What could we get out of Steve, he is on the down side of his career. The pick would probably not be worth the leadership ande experiance he could givie to the next QBPuck said:how 'bout traded ?
oddly, I'd think I'd be for it if Vince Young did not come here and Leinart was drafted instead... Does Miami have any extra defense lying around?Puck said:how 'bout traded ?
What has a first gotten for a team in the past? I honestly have no idea what kind of buying power that is.GLinks said:I'd consider it heavily if we could get a first for him. A second for Feely? Anything less than a first for McNair would be insulting. Two seconds might do it.
Only if the Miami GM was hangin around Ricky Williams during the offseasonBennett83 said:A 1st and 3rd and Jason Taylor?

a #2 receiver converted to a #1 (Drew Bennett) (?expectation)
a #2 receiver in what his third season after missing his entire 2nd second season due to injury and who got semi-benched in his first for dropping passes (?expectation)
and 3 rookies
My expectation level was low to start with. Other people expected miracles and tried to use Mac as their whooping boy.

nigel said:This is not true. Mac has renogitated his contract several times, but he's never taken a pay cut. Its always been reduce this years salary, and get the difference as a signing bonus. Eddie was asked to take a straight up paycut. This year they want McNair to do the same thing, and his answer is the same as Eddie's was... no.
