IIIIIIIT’S BYE WEEK! Finally the time has come in this roller coaster of a season where we can just root against certain teams and don’t have to worry about losing to a trash team or beating a playoff team. At the preseason mark I think we are pretty close to where we thought we’d be at bye week. Here’s how I saw it preseason:

Browns (L)
Colts (L)
Jags (W)
Falcons (L)
Bills (W)
Broncos (L)
Chargers (L)
Bucs (W)
Panthers (L)
Chiefs (L)

We are doing better than I expected, this schedule was tough this season. Good thread to reflect on the season so far and say expectations for the rest of the season. I think it’s either playoffs or change in staff (new head coach, new offensive coordinator). Give your thoughts on the season so far and expectations for the remainder.

We are who we usually are. Inconsistent, frustrating team that sucks you in with an amazing win just to let you down with an inexcusable loss. Let’s see if we can finally turn the corner and string some wins together and get hot down the stretch.

I’m not so quick to blow everything up every couple years. If Art can’t start repeating performances like yesterday then at minimum we need to replace him but not sure I want to blow everything sky high just yet.

I am so looking forward to Sunday and saddling up at a sports bar and watching the Jags/Indy battle and also the Ravens/Texans... It hurts me to cheer for the Ravens but we really need them to take the Texans down... will be a great game watching Watson vs. Jackson

I like the late bye week. They'll have a chance to get some good players back for the final six games.

Having said that, the Titans haven't played consistently-well all season long. They've won 3 or their last 4 but it's been by the skin of their teeth.

The mojo is good right now so why not be optimistic until proven otherwise?

Midseason MVP Logan Ryan

Wanted to make a thread about it but theres not much to debate...

Also, great time for a bye with all the injuries.

Logan has been outstanding.

Unfortunately, he can't be MVP, Kern is still here.

Aside, plenty of unsung heroes around the team. Landry and Evans are playing well. Daquan Jones is the unnoticed guy on the DL. I actually think Ben Jones is playing better and Kelly plays well when called upon.
Jonhu Smith is playing well enough to take over for DW and Firkser looks like he can hold down the TE2 spot. I don't hear Vacarro's name often which usually means he's playing at least decent.

Not trying 2 be a ass but did you just say you were almost right when you didnt get 1 game right?

his job to to give the other team the ball lol

lets not do this, Kern is a fine punter, but no damn punter can be an MVP, they dont do enough or play enough
Team MVP maybe but of course I'm kidding.
If this was that 2-14 team with Mettenberger and Sankey/Andrews, I might make a full argument for Kern.

Ryan has been lights out and with Butler going IR, his play yesterday was even more apparent. AJ25 had a tough go but still made a couple plays. Sims is the liability out there.

Im back and forth on Sims, used to really like him but now...

He did have a good game yesterday, Ill give him that.

Another surprise has been Landry, up to 7 sacks now and plays every down..

the mighty kern remains the Titans MVP, there is really no debate. could easily be our only all-pro this season
