So Titans save 6 mil in cap space...is JRob gonna make a move today to sign a vet now that contracts aren’t guaranteed.

I really worry about our RB depth if Henry were to go down...Devontae Freeman is still out there

The deal was re-structured before the game. When you restructure a deal you are usually doing it for a reason.

so is it to sign a new player??? use the cap space to extend one of our current players??? or just to have more cap room to get through the season with???

The timing of it would make me think that we have some one in mind.
 
Well those no worthy kickers available so my guess is RB I’m not sure who’s available in that market either though
 
I wouldn't be surprised if it is just to roll over more money towards next season. At least that is my hope. Otherwise, with the last minute addition of Adoree to IR and now this apparently last minute move to clear extra space, hopefully that doesn't mean we're without Jackson for more than 3 games.

Maybe a vet OT? We wouldn't need extra space for a kicker and I doubt they sign Freeman.
 
Imo there was a huge dropoff when evans got ejected. We need help at mlb, ot, cb and rb based off of last nights game. But, we had jackson and Joseph out, evans (rb) out and wilson out
 
I am not a huge Freeman guy but he would be an upgrade and he was pretty good in atlanta when he did not have to be the man and was more of a number 2 back.
 
Probably just clearing some cap to roll over to next season when the cap is likely lower. Just kicking the payment down the road and getting 6m now..just makes sense.
 
Ain't Sold on freeman. Had him for fantasy last year and his numbers were awful. Think he's now a 3rd and short guy and the price tag for him I just can't see it being justified

I don’t think this restructure affects his cap hit next year. Just this year from what I’ve seen.

I think with all the injuries and craziness of this season JRob just wants some cap flexibility to add guys if needed.
 
we have to resign brown and jonnu this offseason... maybe CD, adoree, etc

my guess is its for the future and not short term

Gave the Titans 6m this year but they can roll it over for next season if need be.
