I was hoping they would address his beef with ABC but I get it, it's a fluff piece.
 
I liked the HS part and Oregon part. The Titans video was short and didnt show to much. I think I noticed him passing to humphries multiple times for what thats worth lol
 
I thought Part I was lame but II and III were pretty good.

I get it- the "humility" thing has kept MM8 from seeking publicity for himself. This contract year, he definitely needs a bit of a promotion push. But the clips backed up the message that was repeatedly stated. Mariota is a stand up character guy that is an upper level athlete as a result.

There ARE better gifted athletes in the NFL. So many of those, however, eventually waste their gifts because they don't have the discipline and humility to cultivate, nurture and maintain the natural gifts, and resultant opportunities, they were given.

The series did an excellent job of capturing why Mariota is truly a unique person and NFL QB. I agree I'd like for my children to emulate his character and ethic. And honestly, I was inspired to improve my own person as well.

I'm really excited to see if his extra weight/ workout translates into improved durability or impedes his natural speed and movement. We'll see. I am so hopeful that the addition of Vrabel and his character makes a HC/QB combination that galvanizes the entire team culture.
 
This is Mariota propaganda. Trying to butter us up for when they give him an extension. I'm tired of this line they've been feeding us for 5 years, "but he's so nice, gives back to the community and his teammates love him!" Yeah, but he's frequented the ER more than the endzone.

I get your durability complaint. But MM8 is a serviceable QB. Sure we didn't get a Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers, or Patrick Mahomes in round one like the other teams did. But we'll see how long those guys last. Brady was a 6th rounder, Brees was a cast off from the Chargers.

I've been around since the Titans arrived. This teams has needed a new culture since McNair/George/Wychek left. Bud was fading and just never was able to bring in the new "true" talent/character to sustain it. Now, I truly believe we've got something good cooking in Vrabel. And I'd rather stick with a serviceable, good athletic character QB like MM8 rather than roll the dice and let him walk. We can attempt to work up a 6th round project in the next few years, but I am all in for extending Mariota if he is more durable this year. If he goes out early to injury, then so be it. Don't extend him.

But for the love of God- who is better RIGHT NOW. If Mariota goes out or struggles with accuracy, we'll see if Tannehill is. We're in a good spot.

Nothing will match that. Not even an angry mom writing Cam Newton a letter about him celebrating too much will equal the levels of lame "live" tweeting a game 15 years after the fact reached.... who does that ?
