I just seen on espn the free agency was delayed 72 more hours and shawn alexander was resigned to an 8year deal worth 60 million!
 
i'm over this.

clearly they want a deal done, just meet half way and get it over with.
 
The sad part is that they aren't meeting half way, the players aren't budging, and getting their selfish demands... wherever that earlier post was about demanding 60% of total revenues being ridiculous was right...
 
I dont get how teams are signing players though? The Rams signed La'Roi Glover (or a DT Glover) today.
 
The owner's want 56.2% the players want 60%, so why not just make it 58.4% or somewhere around there?

I'm guessing its to do with waivers? If a player was released last thursday.. they didn't hit the waiver wire because the list was never sent out (the chiefs cut list for one) whereas the wednesday (broncos) did.

I'm presuming that La'Roi has accumulated enough playing time/experience/whatever to miss the waivers?
 
I think perhaps they are extending it through the beginning of training camp... :ha:
